Yoga Teachings – The Teachings of the Yogis and Yoga Masters
What inspires you?
What makes you come alive?
What is the deepest longing inside your heart?
Yoga asks you to look
more and more deeply and subtly into your own experience and you
will come to know the yoga of delight, wonder and astonishment. In
this open, living question you will discover that there is nothing
that you are not inspired by. We are here to support you in living
an awake and fulfilled life through intention, commitment and
gratitude.
Our Yoga Teachings are inspired by the wisdom of the
time-honored traditions from the Yoga Masters of Tantra, Meditation,
Buddhism and Mindfulness practices.
Our yoga teachers offer an integrated experience in
service to a rich and fulfilled life. Vinyasa Yoga classes are
steeped in the Ashtanga and Tantra tradition combined with alignment
intelligence and breath awareness. Yin practice is a sequencing of
long held poses to enhance chi flow and nourish the organs.
Meditation practice draws from the Vipassana tradition as taught by
the Buddha, designed to quiet the mind and refine awareness.
Meditation then continues to invite you to see where true freedom
and clarity exists, right in the perfection of this moment.
Meditation is essentially occurring when one is no longer in
opposition to reality. It is here that we can begin to meet our true
self and therefore the truth of all being.
Whether you are just beginning a practice or have an
established practice, it is important to remember that all things
change. The form and content of your yoga practice needs to serve
and reflect where you are in your life. This means that your
practice too will change as you do. Simply make a commitment and
devote yourself to it consistently and completely. Give the practice
a chance to work in your life and watch your life unfold as a
perfect living expression of the divine.
Connie is grateful and deeply humbled by the gift of
having studied with many amazing and powerful teachers, whose
authenticity, wisdom and sense of purpose have inspired her along
the way.
Blessings to Sarah Powers, Ty Powers, Shiva Rea, Rod
Stryker, Richard Freeman, John Friend, Kino Macgregor, and a very
deep bow to her spiritual teacher, Adyashanti for his validation and
support of her own unfolding wakefulness into Truth. She has been
profoundly touched by her students, friends and family…and by life
itself. For it is through our own transformation that we offer an
authentically lived path and the gift of our true self.
